Terms of Service

1. Who we are and agreeing to these Terms

Classroom AMT ("Classroom AMT," "we," "us") is operated by Alex Walls, located in Georgia, USA. By creating an account or using classroomamt.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and handle any purchase of a Pro subscription.

3. What the Service is (and isn't)

Classroom AMT is an independent study platform for FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) written, oral and practical exam preparation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration. Questions, explanations, AI-generated or reworded items, AI grading, ACS-code analysis, predictions and DME listings are study aids only. They may contain errors, and they do not guarantee any score or outcome on an official exam. Nothing in the Service is aircraft maintenance data. Always follow the manufacturer's data, FAA regulations and approved maintenance information when working on aircraft.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. Give accurate information, and don't share your account or let someone else use it. Instructor accounts require approval, and we may deny or revoke instructor access at our discretion.

5. Free and Pro plans

Instructor and administrator accounts get Pro features at no charge. We may add, change or remove features in either plan over time. If we take away a major Pro feature during a period you've paid for, contact us and we'll give you a prorated refund for the rest of that period if you ask.

6. Pro billing, renewal and cancellation

• Price. Pro costs $5.00 USD per month or $40.00 USD per year, plus any applicable tax. The price is shown before you pay.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and your payment method is charged the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.
• How to cancel. Cancel anytime from My Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep Pro until then, and you won't be charged again.
• Price changes. If we change the Pro price, we'll notify you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we and our payment processor may retry it. If it still can't be collected, Pro access ends.
• Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to your payment.

7. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time after you cancel, except where the law requires it or as described in Section 5. If you were charged by mistake, for example a renewal you meant to cancel, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll make it right. Yearly subscribers who ask within 7 days of a new yearly purchase or yearly renewal can get a full refund.

8. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Copy, scrape, export or redistribute the question bank, explanations or other content, or resell access to the Service.
• Try to get around the paywall, security rules or usage limits, or access other users' data.
• Share Pro access with people outside your own account.
• Use the Service to cheat on a live exam, or help others do so.
• Harass anyone, or upload unlawful, infringing or inappropriate content, including profile photos.
• Overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or use automated tools against it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. If we terminate a paid account for a serious violation, no refund is due.

9. Instructors and classrooms

Instructors may create classrooms, quizzes and assigned exams, and they can see results for work they assign. Other practice results are private unless the student chooses to share them. Instructors must use student information only for teaching purposes, and they are responsible for following their school's policies.

10. Your content

You own the content you create, such as custom quizzes, notes and uploaded materials. You give us a limited license to store, process and display it as needed to run the Service, which includes sending typed answers to our AI provider for grading. FAA publications are U.S. government works. All other Service content, design and software belong to Classroom AMT.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any answer key, explanation or AI grade is correct. If you find an error, please flag it using the in-app review button.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, CLASSROOM AMT AND ITS OPERATOR ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR EXAM OUTCOMES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia. You may also bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll post it here with a new effective date, and we'll notify Pro subscribers by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
