Draft — last updated August 2026. This is a starting template, not reviewed by an attorney. Have it reviewed before relying on it, and definitely before Pro billing goes live.
1. Acceptance of terms. By creating an account or using Classroom AMT ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What the Service is. Classroom AMT is a study platform for FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) written and oral/practical exam preparation. It is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the FAA. Practice questions — including AI-generated and reworded items — are for study purposes only and do not guarantee any particular score or outcome on an official FAA exam.
3. Accounts. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Instructor accounts may be subject to approval. Don't share your login or let someone else use your account.
4. Acceptable use. Don't misuse the Service — no scraping the question bank for redistribution, no attempting to bypass access controls, no harassment of other users, no uploading unlawful content.
5. Student data & privacy. Practice results are private to the student by default and are only visible to an instructor if the student explicitly shares them. Instructor-assigned exam results remain visible to the assigning instructor. See your classroom's data-sharing settings for details.
6. Content ownership. You retain ownership of content you create (custom quizzes, uploaded materials). By posting content you grant Classroom AMT a license to store and display it as needed to operate the Service. FAA reference material is used under fair-use/public-domain principles applicable to U.S. government publications.
7. Subscriptions & billing. Classroom AMT currently offers a free tier. A paid "Pro" tier is planned; once available, its pricing, billing terms, and refund policy will be presented separately before you're charged, and this section will be updated accordingly.
8. Disclaimer of warranties. The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any question, explanation, or answer key is 100% accurate — flag anything that looks wrong via the in-app review feature.
9. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classroom AMT and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including exam outcomes.
10. Changes. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves (especially around billing). Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Contact. Questions about these Terms? Reach out through your instructor or classroomamt.com.
